So I had a “friend” go down to Taylormade. It was a personal visit to go and visit Kia Ma. The guy is completely incredible at what he does. Everything can be done by feel as he has truely mastered his craft.
I’ve decided to keep it short as to not distract anybody from his beautiful work. So just enjoy the pictures today.

As many golfers know when you hit a forged golf club on the sweet spot there is no comparison to the way it feels. Although there have been major break throughs with cast golf clubs in recent years to reduce the harsh feel of cast iron. Most believe there will never be a substitute for the performance and feel of the Japanese forged golf club.
This week was a perfect example of this at The Club Fix. We gave customers this week alone new sets of Miura , Kyoei, and Fourteen irons. All the results were the same. More solid performance and better feeling golf clubs.
Most customers that we fit with these clubs were looking for “thinner lines” and “less offset”. Forged golf clubs have always been a premium for such visual appearances. While the appearance may be beautiful to look at. The forged golf club is typically not for the average golfer. Most forged golf clubs have less perimeter weighting which makes the club less forgiving on miss-hits. Although in recent years forged golf foundries have gone after the higher handicap player with models such as the Miura CB series , Fourteen TC-550 and the Epon AF 502 just to name a few more forgiving forged irons.
Now most golfers can enjoy the buttery feel of the Japanese premium forged golf club!
